This set looks like a true winner loaded with brand new releases (the original cut of Bullet Train) and new transfers of older films that will look a million times better than their non-BCI versions.
Now before anyone complains about the lack of Japanese versions (which is a valid issue don't get me wrong), I know in the case of several films the original language version is owned by someone else and BCI was unable to acquire both versions. This was talked about by BCI's Cliff MacMillan with us earlier this year in an interview

and in a post at kung fu fandom

DRAGON PRINCESS, THE BODYGUARD and KARATE WARRIORS -new film transfers of the English language versions...
We had hoped to be able to include the original Japanese version as well, but that might not happen....but you'll get new anamorphic widescreen transfers of the English versions.

Here is the press release itselfVIVA CHIBA!
Earlier this summer, international superstar Shinichi “Sonny” Chiba announced his retirement from acting, after a glorious career that has spanned more than 40 years. In more than 100 films, Chiba established himself as a force to be reckoned with, inspiring countless generations of fans the world over.
On Tuesday, November 20th, BCI Eclipse, under the Ronin Entertainment label, will commemorate Chiba’s awesome legacy with The Sonny Chiba Collection, a six-film DVD set highlighting the best and most memorable performances of the incomparable Sonny Chiba (the Street Fighter trilogy, Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill Vol. 1), available for the super low SRP of $24.98. Pre-book is Oct. 12.
The Sonny Chiba Collection includes the first-ever U.S. release of the longer cut of Bullet Train with English subtitles as well as the international version of Bullet Train with a dubbed English audio track. The collection also boasts the uncut version of Golgo 13 with both the Japanese audio and English-dubbed audio track, as well as the new anamorphic, widescreen transfers of the English-dubbed versions of the all-time Chiba classics Karate Warrior, Dragon Princess, Sister Street Fighter and The Bodyguard.
Few stars define “international superstar” like Sonny Chiba. Ever since his breakthrough hit Street Fighter in 1974, Chiba reigned as the leading Japanese martial arts actor for over twenty years. Sonny was triumphantly reintroduced to a new movie-going generation with Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill, Vol. 1 portraying revered sword maker Hattoro Hanzi.
This holiday season, it will be a “Chiba Christmas”!
