In Romero's The Facts In The Case Of Mr. Valdemar, a conniving wife (Adrienne Barbeau of THE FOG) and her lover use a hypnotic trance to embezzle a fortune from her dying husband, only to receive some chilling surprises from beyond the grave. 

 

Then in Argento's The Black Cat, a deranged crime scene photographer (Harvey Keitelof FROM DUSK TILL DAWN) is driven to brutal acts of madness and murder by his girlfriend's new pet. But will this cunning feline deliver a final sickening twist of its own?

Alright, not only are BU releasing NY RIPPER in the future, they're releasing a whole host more onto Blu-Ray. In the latest issue of Fangoria (30th Anniversary Edition), the back cover contains a huge spread from BLUE UNDERGROUND saluting Fangoria on their 30th Anniversary. They discuss a variety of things, including their forthcoming Blu-Ray titles. The releases announced are the following:

Normally, it would not be in my best interest to advertise a sale at a company where I don't get any revenue lol. Still this is a great sale and a wonderful opportunity to pick up a lot of normally expensive BU discs and sets. It's also a great time to pick up a lot of the Anchor Bay re-issues of Lucio Fulci and Spaghetti Westerns (along with many Italian Horror films, Demons now boasts a 16X9) transfer and Django was completely redone for its BU release) that BU put out because of a deal Bill Lustig made when he left Anchor Bay . my only complaint is WHY IS THE BEYOND still not out! (I suspect its because AB made a deal with Grindhouse to put it out on DVD, but still people WORK IT OUT, :))
