Humphrey Bogart's Estate Revives Santana Films With "This Last Lonely Place"

Indican Pictures' Noir Thriller THIS LAST LONELY PLACE
Executive Produced by the Humphrey Bogart Estate

Indican Pictures will roll out the noir thriller THIS LAST LONELY PLACE starting August 12. The film was written and directed by Steve Anderson and stars Xander Berkeley (“Fox’s 24”), Rhys Coiro (“HBO’s Entourage”), Carly Pope (“Elysium”), Jeananne Goossen (NBC’s The Night Shift) and Richard Portnow (“NBC’s Parks and Rec”). The film was executive produced by the Santana Films division of the Humphrey Bogart Estate, which is co-managed by Robbert de Klerk and Stephen Humphrey Bogart, son of Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall.

The film opens on an unsuspecting cab driver (Coiro) who, on his last night on the job, finds himself roped into helping a wealthy investment banker (Berkeley) cover up a brutal crime.

Berkeley and Coiro were both honored at the sold-out third annual Humphrey Bogart Film Festival in Key Largo, Florida. Not only is Key Largo the setting of the classic film starring Bogie and Bacall, but it is also the home of the actual boat Bogart captained in his Oscar-winning African Queen role. The festival continues to be hosted by Stephen Bogart, which welcomes visitors from 35 U.S. states and seven countries.

THIS LAST LONELY PLACE will be available on TV, Video on Demand, as well as, in rental stores and retail chains worldwide.
