At the climax of "Ghost Of Frankenstein", Ygor's brain has been transplanted into the Monster's skull...
...but this results in blindness for the Monster.
He goes on a rampage, and dies a fiery death in the blazing laboratory.
A photo exists of the scorched Monster outside the burning house.
It was thought to be simply a posed publicity still. However...
...on a 1959 episode of "The Steve Allen Show", a joke montage featured this mysterious clip.
It's actual film footage of the Monster staggering away from the burning building.
Is this part of an entirely different ending that was filmed, but never used?

We live on a globe… right? You might find more disagreement on that than you’d expect.
The Flat Earth community has risen out of nowhere in the past three years and shocked the world with its reach, counting among its members celebrities like NBA star Kyrie Irving and the rapper B.O.B, and drawing the ire of celebrated science communicators like Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson and Bill Nye. Their existence has nonplussed millions, who can't seem to figure out if they're really serious or just elaborate pranksters.
But rest assured—they are deadly serious.
The king among the Flat Earthers is MARK SARGENT, an affable, fast-talking video-game tester in his forties who now champions the Flat Earth cause full-time. Far from a huckster, Mark is a conspiracy enthusiast convinced to his core that we’re all victims of a massive cover-up. He works closely with his enigmatic confidante PATRICIA STEERE to spread their message.
The two are now revered as saints in the members, the eccentric craftsman CHRIS PONTIUS, who makes intricate models of the Flat Earth, and experimenters JERAN CAMPANULA and BOB KNODEL. Their group—Globebusters— carries out complicated experiments meant to prove once and for all the true shape of the earth.
All is not well in Flatland, however. The experiments are all either inconclusive or suggest that the Earth is, in fact, a spinning globe, prompting ever-more convoluted theories to explain away the results. Furthermore, internal rifts threaten to tear the Flat Earth community apart. What begins as a doctrinal argument about whether the Flat Earth is an infinite plane or an enclosed system encased in a dome spirals into something more.
Mark’s former mentor, MATT BOYLAN—a surly, secretive artist who claims to have been employed by NASA—is angry at his protégé’s rise to the top, and feels he isn’t getting the credit he deserves for kickstarting the resurgence of a belief that’s been dead for centuries. He feverishly works to bring down Mark and Patricia by convincing other Flat Earthers that they are actually government agents, creating a massive divide in the community, and sending shockwaves through Mark and Patricia’s personal lives.
Meanwhile, the Flat Earth movement is exploding, adding hundreds of members across the world every day. Media attention builds to a fever pitch during the August 2017 eclipse, when Flat Earthers make the front page in newspapers across the country. Everything comes to a head at the first-ever Flat Earth International Conference in Raleigh, North Carolina, where hundreds of Flat Earthers gather to spend time with the only community where they feel they truly belong; where they feel they have value, and where their lives have real meaning.

FOREVER MY LOVE
Street Date: November 20, 2018 DVD SRP: $24.95
Romy Schneider Vaulted to International Stardom in Her Career-Defining Role as the Fairytale Austrian Princess -- Don't Miss This Film Perfect for the Whole Family!
Romy Schneider became an international star for her career defining role as an Austrian princess caught between love and royal responsibilities. Her three world-renowned and lavishly-produced Sissi films followed the "fairy-tale" lives of Princess Elizabeth and her husband Franz Josef from courtship through marriage.
Featuring an original theme song written by Burt Bacharach, FOREVER MY LOVE brings together the SISSI trilogy - SISSI (1955), SISSI: THE YOUNG EMPRESS (1956) and SISSI: THE FATEFUL YEARS OF THE EMPRESS(1957) into one condensed English-dubbed version, which was theatrically released by Paramount Pictures in the U.S. before becoming a perennial holiday classic on television.
Directed by Ernest Marischka, the story begins in the 1850's, as Archduchess Sophie of Austria selects the Bavarian Princess Helene to wed her son, Emperor Franz Josef. But the emperor falls in love with Helene's uninhibited younger sister, Sissi, instead.
Following the magnificent imperial wedding in Vienna, Sissi takes her newly acquired responsibilities very seriously but breaks one tradition after another. Franz Josef, however, delights in her openness and simplicity, which eventually prove instrumental in winning over the restless Hungarian nation.
Hungary's Count Andrassy confesses his love for Sissi, but although she is attracted to him, she remains faithful to her husband, and they enjoy a second honeymoon in the Alps. She becomes ill with tuberculosis, however, and is sent to Spain for treatment. Under the devoted care of her mother, Duchess Ludovika, she miraculously recovers and is reunited with Franz Josef.

WATCH THE OFFICIAL TRAILER
Following its critically-acclaimed 2018 theatrical release, Film Movement bringsKore-eda's THE THIRD MURDER to home audiences with a loaded DVD being released just prior to the theatrical release of Shoplifters, winner of the prestigious Palme d'Or winner at Cannes in 2018.
In this compelling, slow-burning thriller, high-powered attorney Shigemori (Masaharu Fukuyama) takes on the defense of murder-robbery suspect Misumi (Kōji Yakusho), though he does so with reluctance, knowing that the man already provided a full confession and had been previously convicted of murder thirty years earlier.
But as Shigemori digs deeper into the evidence and hears Misumi's own conflicting testimony, the once confident lawyer begins to doubt whether his client could be the murderer after all. A striking departure in genre and tone from Kore-eda's typical family-oriented dramas, THE THIRD MURDER is a gripping and morally complex crime procedural that incisively explores the meaning of truth and innocence.

"Halloween" takes place in Haddonfield, Illinois...
...but was filmed in southern California.
The trees are noticeably green.
The film crew scattered dead leaves everywhere to simulate autumn. The leaves were then swept up and reused for the next shot.
But perhaps the biggest clue that this is California and not Illinois... ...are the palm trees.
I neither own nor claim any rights to this material. Just having some fun with it. Thanks for watching!
SETH ROGEN AND MICHAEL KEATON TO STAR IN "KING OF THE JUNGLE"
IMR International to Introduce the True-Life Tale to Buyers at AFM
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 26, 2018) –– Seth Rogen (This is the End, The Disaster Artist) and Academy Award® nominee Michael Keaton (Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance), Spotlight) will star in King of the Jungle, a comedy to be directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa (I Love You Phillip Morris) from a script by Golden Globe® and Emmy® Award winners Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski.
The film is based on a true story first published in Condé Nast’s Wired magazine by Joshua Davis. The film is from Condé Nast Entertainment, Zaftig Films, MadRiver Pictures and Endurance Media, who have come on board to co-finance, and Epic Entertainment. IMR International will introduce King of the Jungle to foreign buyers at the AFM next week. CAA Media Finance are representing the U.S. rights.
Based on the Wired magazine article “John McAfee’s Last Stand,” the film tells the wild true story of rogue tech magnate John McAfee (Keaton), creator of the McAfee Antivirus software, who cashed-in his fortune, left civilization, and moved to the jungle in Belize. There, he set-up a Colonel Kurtz-like compound of guns, sex and madness.
In the film, Wired magazine investigator Ari Furman (Rogen) accepts what he thinks is a run-of-the-mill assignment to interview McAfee, but once he arrives in Belize, he finds himself pulled into McAfee’s escalating paranoia, slippery reality, and murder.
The film will be produced by Jeremy Steckler of Condé Nast Entertainment, Zaftig’s Charlie Gogolak, Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, MadRiver’s Marc Butan, Endurance’s Steve Richards, and Epic’s Joshua Davis.
The multi-hyphenate Rogen starred in and produced the critically acclaimed The Disaster Artist for A24 and Sausage Party for Columbia Pictures. He can next be seen in Tim Burton’s Dumbo for Disney which will release next year.
Rogen is represented by UTA and Principal Entertainment LA. Keaton is represented by ICM Partners and Ziffren Brittenham.
IMR’s slate also includes: Justin Kurzel’s Ruin, starring Margot Robbie and Matthias Schoenaerts; What is Life Worth starring Michael Keaton; Olivier Assayas’ Wasp Network starring Penélope Cruz, Pedro Pascal, Gael García Bernal and Edgar Ramírez; and John Michael McDonough’s The Forgiven.
Here's another of the South African apartheid-era films, made for black audiences, which are now being rescued from oblivion, restored, and released by IndiePix Films.
As with the others I've recently seen, FISHY STONES (1990) is a low-budget affair that falls squarely into the category of films that I enjoy because they show filmmakers with severely limited resources doing their best to come up with something entertaining.
Here, it's director Tonie van der Merwe (UMBANGO, OPERATION HIT SQUAD) again, concocting a modest comedy/drama about two diamond thieves (Popo Gumede and Hector Mathanda of UMBANGO as "Robert" and "Makhosi") who must toss their bag of "fishy stones" out the window during a police chase in hopes of returning later to recover it.
The diamonds are later discovered by David and Alex, two teenage boys on a camping trip. When Robert and Makhosi escape from jail and return to find their diamonds missing, they descend upon the hapless young boys with threats and intimidation. The rest of the film is a back-and-forth conflict between the two good guys and two bad guys with the missing diamonds in the balance.
Tonie van der Merwe's direction is passable and occasionally imaginative as it was in UMBANGO. The film even opens with a nifty car chase between the two diamond thieves and the local cops, with some well-rendered "poor man's process" shots.
The rest of the story takes place almost entirely in economical outdoor locations, mainly the forest where the two boys stumble across the bag of diamonds while camping out.
Diamond thieves Robert and Makhosi are, respectively, the handsome brains of the duo and its extremely low-I.Q. comic relief. As Makhosi, the manic, gap-toothed Hector Mathanda (who also plays a mad bomber in GONE CRAZY) ably conveys a sort of sublime idiocy that helps turn most of their scenes together into amusing comedy routines even when they're at their most desperate.
While spying on David and Alex's camp, it's funny to listen to the two crooks argue about who's going to watch which boy (Makhosi claims that since he has smaller eyes, he can see the skinny boy better and thus Robert should keep watch on the fat one).
They also fight over whose diamonds they are ("My diamonds! Mine!" the childish, intellectually-challenged Makhosi keeps insisting), finally turning on each other and wrestling for their only gun.
After the action of the first act, FISHY STONES settles into a leisurely pace that doesn't generate all that much suspense but does keep us interested in how things will eventually turn out.
Some will find the long stretches of dialogue and meandering bits of business boring, with David and Alex lying around their camp hashing over what they're going to do with the diamonds (most likely they'll turn them in to the police) as Robert and Makhosi argue endlessly and get on each other's nerves while lurking in the bushes.
As for me, I managed to settle into FISHY STONES' modest groove and enjoy it as a likably low-key and ultimately harmless adventure that goes down easy.
