Amazon & Blumhouse's Gothic Horror Film "THE MANOR" Releasing Worldwide on Amazon Prime Video Oct 8

Amazon & Blumhouse's Gothic Horror Film "THE MANOR" Releasing Worldwide on Amazon Prime Video Oct 8

A chilling examination of how we view aging and our treatment of the elderly, with a supernatural twist, THE MANOR centers on Judith Albright (Barbara Hershey) who recently suffered a mild stroke and reluctantly moves into a historic nursing home where she becomes convinced an unknown force is killing the residents.

Axelle utilizes her keen eye for high-brow horror to showcase the exceptional talents of Barbara Hershey in a rare over-70 female protagonist role, supported by a star-studded cast including Bruce Davison, Nicholas Alexander, Jill Larsen, Fran Bennett and Katie Amanda Keane. Axelle’s script explores the humanity of our elderly population and how these members of our society are vibrant, capable, and not expendable.

THE MANOR will launch on Amazon as part of the Welcome to the Blumhouse series, a quartet of unique, unsettling thrillers developed and produced with an eye towards diverse, original storytelling with an emphasis on rising female filmmakers. THE MANOR will premiere as part of the series, among 3 additional titles: Black as Night, Madres, and Bingo Hell.

About Axelle Carolyn:
A passionate fan of genre content and a talented director to watch, Axelle has several projects under her belt across both the television and film spaces, helming several recent beloved genre stories. In addition to THE MANOR, she recently directed episodes of several prestigious TV shows in the last year, including the standout, black-and-white chapter of “The Haunting of Bly Manor” from Paramount, Amblin, and Netflix, which Rotten Tomatoes called “the year’s most haunting hour of TV”, as well as Ryan Murphy’s lauded FX series “American Horror Story”, Shudder’s “Creepshow,” and Netflix’s upcoming “The Midnight Club.” Axelle’s previous writing credits also include the “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,” for Warner Bros and Netflix.  Her feature directorial debut, a slow-burn ghost story titled SOULMATE won several awards in festivals around the world and is currently streaming on Amazon.

"TO YOUR LAST DEATH" Racks Up Awards and Nominations, Free on Amazon Prime -- See Trailer HERE!

Baccarin, Moseley, Wise & Shatner Fight "To Your Last Death"

Little Hyperviolent Movie That Could Racks Up Nominations

Latest Nominations from MPSE & Film Threat

Animated Bloodbath Streaming Free for Prime Subscribers

Available for Rent or Purchase on All Platforms and Blu-ray

"A strikingly animated, carnage-filled romp that mashes up genres and packs some nice surprises" -- Dread Central

"Raises 'everything and the kitchen sink' to a cosmic level and revels in its ability to annihilate convention." --  Rue Morgue

"Great animation that will have any horror or comic book fan happy"
-- Nightmarish Conjurings

Los Angeles, CA -- To Your Last Death, the unique 2-D, hand-drawn, animated horror feature, picked up three more nominations this week – two from indie tastemaker Film Threat, including Best Horror Feature and the prestigious What the F**k is This Movie Even, as well as the Golden Reel for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing – Non-Theatrical Animation Long Form, from the Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE). To Your Last Death’s Emmy-winning Supervising Sound Designer Michael Archacki, as well as Sound Designer Matthew Schaff, MPSE, were named.

WATCH THE TRAILER HERE:

These nominations cap a remarkable festival run for To Your Last Death. The film has snagged 34 wins since its world premiere at FrightFest, including Best Feature from Pasadena International Film Festival, Best Director from Horrorhound, and Best Horror Feature from Phoenix International Film Festival. “Based on our research, we are the second most award-winning horror feature of 2020,” says co-writer and executive producer Tanya Klein.

Quite an achievement for a twisted, low-budget animated movie which Film Threat rated 9/10 and raved "one of the best horror/action movies I've seen in a while". To Your Last Death combines a wildly imaginative script with eye-popping animation. The film is anchored by a first-class voice cast: Morena Baccarin (Deadpool, "Firefly", "Gotham") as the mysterious Gamemaster, Ray Wise ("Twin Peaks", Batman: The Killing Joke, Robocop), Dani Lennon (The Love Witch, Bite Me), Bill Moseley (House of 1000 Corpses, Repo! The Genetic Opera, The Devil's Rejects), and William Shatner (the "Star Trek" franchise, "The Practice") as the sadistic Overseer.

“I'm humbled and honored to be nominated by our peers for a MPSE Golden Reel Award,” says Archacki. “The animation style and storyline of To Your Last Death allowed us to create enhanced soundscapes to further drive home the intense imagery and emotional responses of the film. A project like this only comes once in a career.”

“I grew up reading Film Threat, so getting nominated for not just one, but two ‘Award This!’ awards is wonderfully surreal,” says director Jason Axinn.

To Your Last Death features hand-drawn animation in a style reminiscent of "Archer" and "Metalocalypse." According to executive producer and co-writer Jim Cirile, the film is "extremely violent, but it features dimensional, relatable characters and definitely has something to say. There's political bite and social commentary and surprising depth."

To Your Last Death was produced by Coverage Ink Films and directed by Jason Axinn, from a script by Coverage Ink's Tanya Klein and Jim Cirile. Axinn produced alongside Cindi Rice and Paige Barnett.  Tanya Klein, James Cirile, and John Frank Rosenblum served as executive producers. Carl Frank, best known for his work on Dungeons & Dragons and Magic the Gathering, led the art department. Rene G. Boscio composed the score.

After emerging as the sole survivor in a deadly revenge game set up by her father to punish his children, Miriam receives an offer from a supernatural entity to go back in time and try again. Now, Miriam must survive both her father's blood lust and the Gamemaster's ever-changing rules to save her siblings as she relives the worst night of her life.

To Your Last Death is currently free to stream for Amazon Prime subscribers, and also available to rent or own on various digital HD platforms and Blu-ray.

It is 2048.  Mankind has by now destroyed the ozone layer to such a degree that normal human beings cannot be out in daytime.  People spend their waking hours at night and almost everything is done inside the virtual realm.

From work to school to socializing, most people just stay home and conduct their affairs from their Virtual Reality designated spaces.  Mental depression has become so prevalent that the entire population is required to take the state issued pill 001LithiumX.

In this new world order, Adam Bird is a rare breed.  Adam insists on waking up during the day.  He insists on leaving his house and going to work in a physical office.  He has 3 kids in a time when most people barely breed, and he adamantly refuses to take 001LithiumX, fighting to stay human in a world that is rapidly transforming into the artificial.

But things change when Adam discovers his heart is mysteriously failing.   With no possibility for an organ transplant, Adam is now scheduled to be replaced by a cloned upgrade - an improved version of himself that will be supplied to his estranged wife as part of the Premium 3 government insurance plan.

Spiraling out of control, Adam starts living on borrowed time, seeking to find a solution before his replica will be sent to raise his kids and replace his existence across the board.

A raw and audacious fly-on-the-wall expose documentary on the life of a long-haul airline captain, DTF charts filmmaker Al Bailey, who follows a widowed airline pilot around the planet as he searches to find new love via the dating app Tinder.

The well-intended quest spirals into a controversial cautionary tale of one man's addictive and outlandish behavior in a bubble of vice and depravity that conflicts with his consummate professionalism.

Over the course of 18 months, a filmmaker follows his friend "Christian" as his career as a long-haul pilot takes him to the far corners of the Earth.  Widowed and lonely, "Christian" uses his career to find new love in far-off lands as the camera captures his misadventures in lust and love.

From the Far East to North America, the friendship of the two men is thrown into turmoil as moral compasses are tested to the limits with a whirlwind of vice and addiction.

The question soon turns from can you find true love in the modern global world via dating apps, to how well do you know your closest friends when you are thrown into their secret crazy environments?

After accidentally killing an endangered animal on a popular reality TV show, Madi Cooke (Kat Foster) is labeled an eco-terrorist, is fired from her job, and believes she now is the most hated woman in America. She changes her look and last name to interview with Bobbi (Georgia King), who heads Mason Agents — the #1 real estate firm in Connecticut. But in an effort to maintain championship status in a local, annual tournament, Bobbi only hires women who play tennis.

WATCH THE TRAILER HERE:

Madi joins a clinic at Acme Indoor Tennis to practice the game she hasn’t played seriously since high school, nearly 20 years ago. That’s where she meets Tennis Pro Fernando (Josh Segarra), Jane (Catherine Curtin), Ceecee (Emy Coligado), Preeti (Aneesh Sheth) and Valentina (Karina Arroyave), and renews her strained friendship with her best friend and former high school tennis partner, Ollie (Alana O’Brien).

In a twist of events, Madi and her underdogs take on Bobbi’s Mason Agents at their Elite tennis club, where Madi will find her grit or lose everything.

“During the day in tennis clubs across America, millions of women gather to hit balls at each other. I’m one of them,” says O’Brien. “We wear trendy outfits, visors, and elbow and knee braces. We drink coconut water and eat protein bars and take acetaminophen. We are middle-aged women of all shapes, sizes, and athletic ability. Our personal lives may differ from one another, but on some 250,000 courts in the U.S., we’re all tennis players. Many of us aren’t good, but the competition is as fierce as the pros, sort of, and it’s fun material for a screenplay.”

"AMONG US": What To Watch Today? Seen The Declassified Pentagon Footage of the Alien Spaceship?

Have you caught the UFO videos the Pentagon just declassified? If you did - this documentary is for you.

On April 27, the Pentagon released videos declassified by the US Navy. The footage, captured by U.S. Navy pilots, shows "wingless aircraft traveling at hypersonic speeds, with no visible means of propulsion," shared LiveScience.com.

While Military.com goes on to share, "In releasing the videos, the U.S. Navy officially acknowledges that its pilots encountered so-called unidentified aerial phenomena."

AMONG US, a new documentary released by Vision Films, adds to the argument - humans are not alone on planet earth; alien life forms are (already) AMONG US.

Filmmaker Caroline Cory documents the jaw-dropping accounts of extraterrestrial encounters around the world and provides ground-breaking, scientific evidence of these other-worldly interactions, leaving the compelling question open - what will the influence of non-human beings be on our DNA?

NEON Launches Matt Wolf's "SPACESHIP EARTH" on May 8th -- Watch Trailer HERE!

MATT WOLF’S STRANGER THAN FICTION

"SPACESHIP EARTH" LAUNCHES EVERYWHERE MAY 8TH

NEON SETS INNOVATIVE RELEASE STRATEGY IN RESPONSE TO GLOBAL SHUTDOWN

New York, New York (April 21, 2020) - NEON will launch the Sundance hit Spaceship Earth on May 8th across an innovative footprint of both traditional and non-traditional venues.  As an homage to NEON's love of cinema, the film will play theatrically in participating drive-ins, and select pop-up city-scape projections (safely accessible by quarantined city dwellers). In addition, NEON has made a special arrangement with exhibitors to launch the film on theater websites plus websites of other affected businesses interested in participating. Current confirmed distribution partners include film festivals, museums and first-time film purveyors like bookstores, restaurants and more. The footprint is rounded out by a simultaneous digital launch on Apple TV, Amazon, Google Play, FandangoNow, Vudu, DIRECTV, DISH and longtime NEON partner Hulu.

WATCH THE TRAILER:

AN Impact Partners’, RadicalMedia and Stacey Reiss Production, Spaceship Earth was directed by Matt Wolf and debuted at Sundance to rave reviews with critics hailing it as “out of this world.”  NEON tracked the film and its director long prior to its 2020 Sundance premiere attempting to buy it last year, but little did anyone know just how apt the film and its story would become.

Spaceship Earth is the true, stranger-than-fiction, adventure of eight visionaries who in 1991 spent two years quarantined inside of a self-engineered replica of Earth’s ecosystem called BIOSPHERE 2. The experiment was a worldwide phenomenon, chronicling daily existence in the face of life-threatening ecological disaster and a growing criticism that it was nothing more than a cult.

The bizarre story is both a cautionary tale and a hopeful lesson of how a small group of dreamers can potentially reimagine a new world.   It’s an eerily prescient and telling film for the world of today.

NEON’s release strategy was devised as a way to address the current limitations of the theatrical experience with the aim of bringing communities and cinephiles together and help support organizations and businesses in need.

Allowing independent movie theaters, museums, book stores, arts and cultural organizations, non-profits, restaurants and other severely impacted small businesses to participate in the release will give them the opportunity to stay connected with their community and hopefully provide some much-needed financial support.

Additionally, partners will have the option to host private screenings and/or to co-host live online Q&A’s and panels with filmmakers, film subjects and special guests.  A partial list of non-traditional partners includes Atlas Obscura, Earth Day Network, Books are Magic, the Explorers Club, Posteritati, Fernbank Museum, NYC Trivia League, Talcott Mountain Science Center, Ground Support Cafe, Explorers Club, Malaprop’s Bookstore/Cafe, SITE Sante Fe, Synergetic Press, City Growers, Bud Werner Memorial Library, Santa Monica French bistro Pasjoli and Brooklyn’s famous eatery Locanda Vinii & Olie. Other small businesses and organizations in the US interested in partnering with NEON can learn more and sign-up at www.NEONrated.com.

“NEON has never released a film without the benefit of theaters and Spaceship Earth is no exception to that rule,” says NEON Founder/CEO Tom Quinn.  “As every day becomes a harsh, almost surreal, new reality, it’s clear we must continue launching new films and entertain audiences as best we can.  It’s also important we innovate and adapt to support the many businesses in need.  Even though Spaceship Earth won’t be playing in theaters across the country we hope by making it available ‘everywhere’ the film's release can at least embody the communal spirit of cinema if not the big screen.  We miss our partners in exhibition greatly and look forward to cinema's triumphant return.”

NEON acquired worldwide rights to the film.  Details of the film’s global launch plans to be announced later this week.

About NEON
A little less than 3 years since inception, NEON has garnered 12 Oscar nominations and grossed over $150M at the Box Office. It continues to push boundaries and take creative risks on bold cinema such as Bong Joon Ho’s Parasite, which made history winning four Academy Awards®, becoming the first non-English-language film to claim Best Picture. The film, which also unanimously won the Palme d’Or at Cannes, has amassed over $53M at the domestic box office and broke multiple records including highest per screen average of the year and highest per screen average for a foreign language film of all time. Other noteworthy NEON releases include: Double Oscar nominee Honeyland; Todd Douglas Miller’s Apollo 11, 2019's highest grossing documentary with a worldwide gross of $16M; Tim Wardle's Three Identical Strangers, winner of the Sundance Special Jury Award for Storytelling which surpassed $13M at the box office; and Craig Gillespie’s I, Tonya, which garnered multiple Academy Award® nominations, one win for Allison Janney and amassed over $30M in domestic box office.

The company continues to be an impressive force, with recent acquisitions such as: Pig, starring Nicolas Cage; Brandon Cronenberg’s Possessor; Max Barbakow’s sought after Palm Springs starring Andy Samberg, which NEON acquired with Hulu; Josephine Decker’s Shirley starring Elisabeth Moss; and the documentary Gunda directed by Viktor Kossakovsky and executive produced by Joaquin Phoenix.   Recent releases include: the critically acclaimed Cannes hit Portrait of a Lady on Fire, which was nominated for Best Foreign Film at the Golden Globes® and Independent Spirit Awards; Tamara Kotevska and Ljubo Stefanov’s award-winning and record- breaking Honeyland, which is the first non-fiction feature to land Academy Award® nominations for Best Documentary and Best International Feature Film in the same year; Alejandro Landes’ cinematic thriller Monos (the Colombian selection for the Academy Awards®); Severin Fiala and Veronika Franz‘s horror film The Lodge starring Riley Keough; Julius Onah’sLuce starring Naomi Watts and Octavia Spencer; Tom Harper’s Wild Rose starring Jessie Buckley; John Chester’s The Biggest Little Farm; Chinonye Chukwu’s Clemency starring Academy Award® Nominee Alfre Woodard; and the electrifying documentary about Aretha Franklin, Amazing Grace.

After their successful collaboration on I, Tonya in January 2018, 30WEST (Dan Friedkin's and Micah Green's strategic venture) partnered with NEON's Tom Quinn (Founder & CEO) and Tim League (Co-Founder) to become majority investors in the company.

If you didn’t catch that episode – don’t worry – you have plenty of time to catch up on it today!

And just remember – if someone takes your spot on the couch when you are ready to binge The Big Bang Theory – Sheldon gives you permission to say – “It’s Complicated. Just Move!”

Synopsis:
The Complete Series of this blockbuster comedy follows the hilarious trajectory of best friends Leonard Hofstadter and Sheldon Cooper: geniuses in the lab and challenged in the real world. Yet both somehow manage to entangle themselves in wedded bliss: Leonard with his street-smart neighbor, Penny, and Sheldon, after a long courtship, with Amy, a successful neurobiologist.

Across 12 universally beloved seasons, they and their friends—fellow scientist Howard, his adorable microbiologist wife, Bernadette, and astrophysicist bachelor Raj—attempt to solve quotidian conundrums posed by academia, family crises and video games while solving world-changing problems in physics.

Proving, ultimately, that what matters most in the universe is fun, friendship and a well-founded theory. Oh, and a Nobel Prize would be nice.

"She's Allergic to Cats" Takes a Trip on VOD April 7th

A Lowly Dog Groomer Descends Into Surreal Chaos

Festival Favorite Fever Dream Available Nationwide
Rent or Buy on iTunes and Amazon Prime Video

"sincerely bizarre but somehow still incredibly heartfelt" -- RogerEbert.com"funny and confounding and adorable and gross all at once" -- Birth.Movies.Death

Los Angeles, CA - Giant Pictures has announced the long-awaited Digital HD launch of writer/director Michael Reich's semi-autobiographical experimental comedy She's Allergic to Cats.

She's Allergic to Cats will be available to rent or own April 7th on Amazon Prime Video and iTunes.

WATCH THE TRAILER:

She's Allergic to Cats is the debut feature from music video director Michael Reich.  The film is based in large part on his own experiences of life in Los Angeles. Reich spent years grooming dogs, documenting the underground punk scene, directing music videos for My Chemical Romance, The Shins, Bad Religion and Ryan Adams, as well as appearing as a body double for the gold robot in Daft Punk.

The film was produced by his longtime collaborator turned lead actor Mike Pinkney and veteran genre producer Andrew van den Houten (The Ranger, Sadistic Intentions).  She's Allergic to Cats co-stars Sonja Kinski (latest member of the Kinski acting dynasty) and Flula Borg ("Conan", James Gunn's The Suicide Squad.

Mike Pinkney stars as Michael Pinkney, a stifled creative artist eeking out a living in Hollywood as a dog groomer.  When the girl of his dreams (Sonja Kinski) walks into his shop, he falls down a rabbit hole filled with surrealist detours and melancholic absurdity.

She's Allergic to Cats had its world premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival, where the festival's co-director Mitch Davis hailed it as an intoxicatingly insane breath-of-fresh-air.

The film went on to screen around the world at the Oldenburg International Film Festival, Vienna's /slash Filmfestival, Sydney Underground Film Festival, GenreBlast, WhatTheFilm Fest, and Ithaca Fantastik, where it took home the award for Best Film.

Michael Pinkney (Pinkney) is a dog groomer living in a rat-infested Hollywood dive with dreams of a bigger creative life.  His current ambition is to raise funding for an all-cat remake of Carrie.  At home he makes what he refers to as "weird video art that nobody wants to watch".

One day on the job, he meets Cora (Kinski) the girl of his dreams.  "When you're cutting their nails, is it supposed to bleed that much?", she asks, as he stares at her lovingly.  Easily distracted, creatively in knots and now in some sort of love, Michael's about to embark on a whole new dangerous trip.

Happy Leap Year From Chandler Bing -- #OwnFriendsTV

Did you know that this Saturday - February 29 - is Leap Day?

It’s a date that only comes around every 4 years to help synchronize the calendar year with the length of time it takes the Earth to complete its orbit around the sun - which is 365.25 days! It’s an extra 24 hours to do whatever you want, without feeling guilty that you don’t have the time.

In the word’s of Chandler Bing – “Can I BE anymore excited?!”

Some fun facts about Leap Year:

Leap Year was first introduced by Julius Caesar in 45 BC.
The odds of being born on Leap Day are about 1 in 1500.
There are about 187,000 people in the US, and 4 million people worldwide who were born on Leap Day.
Leap year babies get their driver's licenses when they are officially four years old (or 16 calendar years)!
How do you know if it’s going to be a Leap Year? Most years that can be divided evenly by 4 are Leap Years, with the exception on Century Years. Century Years are not Leap Years unless they can be evenly divided by 400.

So what are you going to do with your extra day this year? On behalf of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and the Digital, Blu-ray & DVD releases of Friends – we wanted to wish you and your family a Happy Leap Year. Since this day only comes around once every 4 years – it’s a day to sit back, relax and binge with your “friends.”

We have created a fun meme for your readers from Chandler Bing – with his infamous one-liner - in honor of Leap Year. We would love if you can please share with your readers today on your site and socials – and remind them that this amazing day is coming on Saturday, February 29!

Award-Winning Documentary "CODE & RESPONSE" Available Nov. 19 On iTunes, Amazon Prime and Vimeo

"CODE & RESPONSE"

Award-Winning Documentary Available Nov. 19

2018 was one of the worst years on record for natural disasters-taxing governments, straining relief organizations and overwhelming communities as they attempt to rebuild. In the wake of these global catastrophes, a new type of responder emerges: the coder.

CODE & RESPONSE follows coders around the world (Japan, Puerto Rico, California and Mexico) as they develop groundbreaking technologies to help first responders and communities become more resilient against the growing threat of natural disasters. The film not only explores the technology they are building, but also their motivation and inspiration for what they are creating.

When Pedro Cruz couldn’t communicate with his Grandmother during Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, he used his drone to see how she was doing. As he flew the drone to her house, he saw SOS messages painted on the street, which is what inspired his AI-driven technology, DroneAid.

Growing up in the mountains of Washington State, Kenji Kato had first-hand experience with the threat of wildfires. His app, Wildfire Report, is designed to help both first responders and communities more accurately track the progress of fires and help find the safest routes to evacuate.

CODE & RESPONSE is directed by Austin Peck and produced by George Hammer. Peck’s credits include director of Gardeners of Eden, about Kenya’s David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, the critically-acclaimed feature Tough Bond and “Big Picture,” the 11-episode investigative news series in VR.

CODE & RESPONSE has won several awards in 2019, including Best Documentary—International New York Film Festival, Best Documentary Short Film Award - MINT Film Festival, The Gold Award Best Feature—Southeast Regional Film Festival, The Founders Award—North Beach American Film Festival, Official Selection—Golden Door International Film Festival, Official Selection - Napa Valley Film Festival and Official Selection—New Haven International Film Festival.

The film will be available on iTunes, Amazon Prime and Vimeo on November 19, 2019.

Eryc Tramonn's Misfit Comedy "LONERS" Now on VOD

Hilarity Ensues When Big Brother Decides Everybody Needs a Friend

Available on Amazon Instant Video
Also Screening All Week at the Music Hall in Los Angeles

"contains just enough heart, and twists, to see you through until the end." -- Wherever I Look

Los Angeles, CA - Loners Productions and Indie Rights are excited to announce the theatrical debut and Digital HD rollout of Eryc Tramonn's misfit comedy Loners.  Following its beginnings as a stage production by Neil McGowan, Loners was developed into a feature film by producer/star Tyson Turrou as a comedic take on our current political climate and the government's inability to actually address the violence in our news.  The film asks for answers to two of life's greatest questions: How to avoid the government, and how to make friends.

Loners is now available on Digital HD, including Amazon Instant Video, alongside a weeklong run at Los Angeles' Laemmle Music Hall beginning May 31. The film will premiere on additional Cable and Digital VOD in the coming weeks.

Starring:  Khary Payton ("The Walking Dead"), Stephen Tobolowsky (Spaceballs, "Silicon Valley"),  Brian Letscher, Melissa Paladino, Tyson Turrou, David Christian Welborn, Brenda Davidson, Michael Monks, Madeleine Woolner, Neil McGowan, Keith Stevenson, Kate Linder ("Young and the Restless") Will Greenberg (TBS' "Wrecked"), Rob Kerkovich ("NCIS: New Orleans")

On stepping into the director's chair, Tramonn said, "Loners presented a unique opportunity to engage an audience with humor while exploring a topical conundrum: In a world so socially connected, is there a connection between those who choose not to connect and those disconnected from reality? And of those disconnected, are they really connected to potential violence? Loners makes that connection in a world where President Camacho would be proud."

Beverly Hills, CA 90211

In this biting satire set in the very near future, an ensemble of eccentric loners is forced to endure a government-mandated group therapy class called "Lone-Anon" as part of the "War on Loneliness," a misguided initiative to stem the growing tide of American violence.  Led by an ineffectual therapist whose exercises become increasingly comical, the loners are thrust into a government conspiracy to justify its failing program.  Now, in order to avoid being the latest introverts abducted by mysterious operatives, the group will have to do what terrifies them the most:  stand up for their right to be alone, together.
