...not realizing that it is clogged with crude oil.
In one scene, Moe is meant to get a faceful of the stuff, but...
...it comes out too soon, spewing right into his open eyes and blinding him.
Moe needed immediate first aid to open his eyes and clean them out before he could see again.
But such were the perils of being a Stooge.
