LOS ANGELES (May 11, 2017) –– BLOOM announced today that Emmy Award Nominated Christina Hendricks (“Mad Men,” The Neon Demon, Drive), Bailee Madison (“Once Upon a Time,” Just Go with It), and Lewis Pullman (Aftermath, Battle of the Sexes) have joined the cast of The Strangers 2. Johannes Roberts (The Other Side of the Door, 47 Meters Down) will direct based on a script by Bryan Bertino (The Strangers) and Ben Ketai.  BLOOM first introduced the project at the Berlin International Film Festival and will continue sales in Cannes. The Fyzz Facility Pictures’ Wayne Marc Godfrey (Wind River, The Foreigner), Robert Jones (Centurion, The Usual Suspects), Mark Lane & James Harris (47 Meters Down, I Am Not A Serial Killer) are producing, in association with Relativity Media. The Fyzz Facility are also serving as financiers on the project. Aviron will be distributing the film in the U.S. and Canada.

Intrepid Pictures’ Trevor Macy, who produced 2008’s The Strangers as well as successful genre titles such as The Bye Bye Man, Ouija: Origin of Evil and Oculus will serve as Executive Producer. Principal Photography will begin on May 30th in Los Angeles.

The Strangers 2 follows a family whose road trip takes a turn when they arrive at a secluded mobile home park and after the power goes out they decide to hunker down for the night in a borrowed trailer. Under the cover of darkness three familiar masked psychopaths pay them a visit to test their every limit.

Six-time Emmy Nominated actress Hendricks is known for her role in AMC’s “Mad Men,” and has starred in a diversified slate of films including: The Neon Demon, Drive, and Ginger & Rosa. Madison is a young actress and producer who has amassed an impressive slate including: ABC’s “Once Upon a Time,” Hallmark’s “Good Witch” and feature films, Letters to God, Brothers, Parental Guidance, Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark, and Just Go with It. Pullman is a rising star, who most recently appeared alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in Elliott Lester’s Aftermath, and will next be seen alongside Emma Stone and Steve Carell in Battle of the Sexes.
