LOS ANGELES (May 10, 2019) – Highland Film Group announced today that Lulu Wilson (Annabelle: Creation, “The Haunting of Hill House”, upcoming The Glorias: A Life on the Road) and Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead, Mission Impossible, Star Trek) will go head-to-head in a new action thriller, Becky, from directors Jonathan Milott and Cary Murnion (Bushwick, Cooties). The film will be produced by Jordan Yale Levine (King Cobra, Crypto) and Jordan Beckerman (After Everything, Crypto) of Yale Productions, alongside Raphael Margules and J.D. Spunky, rebellious 13-year-old Becky (Wilson) is brought to a weekend getaway at a lake house by her father in an effort to try to reconnect after her mother’s death. The trip immediately takes a turn for the worse when a group of convicts on the run, led by the merciless Dominick (Pegg), suddenly invade the lake house. Becky, not daddy’s little girl anymore, decides to take matters into her own hands in this high-octane action-thriller described as John Wick with a 13-year-old girl. Principal photography is set to begin in Summer 2019.
