Kubrick Uses George C. Scott's Accidental Pratfall In "Dr. Strangelove" (1964) (video)

Stanley Kubrick told George C. Scott to overplay his role in the warm-up rehearsals.

He then filmed those rehearsals and used the more exaggerated takes in the actual film.

Scott resented this...
...but it resulted in one great accidental pratfall...
...in which Scott never breaks character.

Thus creating one of the film's best moments.

I neither own nor claim any rights to this material.  Just having some fun with it.  Thanks for watching!
