Walter Huston Breaks the 4th Wall in "Treasure of the Sierra Madre" (Warner Bros., 1948) (video)

Walter Huston's character, Howard, takes time off from gold hunting in 1920s Mexico...

...to save the life of a little Indian boy.

In gratitude, he is treated like a king. And in a brief but delightful example of "breaking the fourth wall"...

...Howard shares his good fortune with us, the viewer.

I neither own nor claim any rights to this material.  Just having some fun with it. Thanks for watching!
